Bella Lodge is one of the premier cabins near Beaver’s Bend, recently featured in the Oklahoman (http://newsok.com/article/3873274) as a “vacation treat on its own.” Located in the heavily wooded Oak Ridge area just off Hwy 259A-East, it’s one of the closest cabins to Beavers Bend state park, just minutes from trout fishing, hiking, canoeing, and all the local activities.
Bella Lodge is the perfect place to experience nature, but with all the comforts of home. The deer feeder goes off each night above the salt lick, attracting deer, raccoons, armadillos, and other wildlife daily. There is also a bird feeder right outside the living room window (birdseed provided), which brings various birds, squirrels and other animals within feet of you and the cabin. Maybe you prefer to see nature on TV, which can be done on one of the many flat screen TVs. Don’t forget to try the cabin’s telescope, bringing the stars and anything else you spot within arms length.
Bella Lodge is a single level cabin with 3 private bedrooms, 2 full baths and 1 half bath, which makes staying up late and sleeping in a lot easier, especially when some of the guests are on different sleep schedules! Sleeping arrangements include a king bedroom with a private his/her sink and a separate shower & bath, plus 2 queen bedrooms joined by a Jack and Jill bathroom. The cabin also comes with a futon that will sleep two more, as well as an ample supply of linens and towels, plus a washer/dryer for your convenience.
Bella Lodge has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare a feast for your family and friends. All you need to bring is the food! For your grilling pleasure, Bella Lodge offers both a gas grill and a “smoker” for the barbeque enthusiast. All dishes, flatware and cookware are provided, plus plenty of inside and outside seating.
After a long day, just toss everything in the dishwasher and relax! Slip outside to one of the covered decks and release the tensions of the day in the outdoor hot tub (often the best place to see Deer at night). If you prefer, stay indoors and relax in front of the cozy fireplace (wood provided) or set up the card table and practice your poker face. For those who need to stay connected, the cabin is equipped with wireless internet and satellite television. For some outdoor fun, children can enjoy the large playhouse, swing set, horseshoe pit, and bean bag toss. After the sun goes down, enjoy the foosball table, Playstation, board games, and puzzles, or just wind down the evening watching a movie on the DVD player.
