Celebrate the beautiful blooms of thousands of dogwood trees in the Idabel area with a visit to the springtime Dogwood Days Festival.
The Kiamichi Owa-Chito Festival of the Forest, held at Beavers Bend State Park in southeast Oklahoma, is an annual festival devoted to highlighting the beauty, heritage, industry and progress of Choctaw Country.
Some of the nation’s best wood artists are putting the finishing touches on unique and innovative wood art pieces for this year’s “Master Woodworking Artist of the Year” exhibit, which takes place at the Forest Heritage Center Museum in the Beaver’s Bend State Park in Broken Bow. The public is invited to the awards ceremony on March 4 from 1:30 – 3:30 and to view all of the art in the museum’s gallery until May 6th. Learn more.
